Detective Tenali Ramakrishna
Detective Tenali Rama Krishna is a psychological crime thriller that follows Gopi, a young boy raised in extreme poverty whose childhood is shattered by the relentless mockery of wealthy neighborhood children calling him a "Lakshadhikari" (Millionaire). The trauma deepens into tragedy when his widowed mother collapses and dies due to the public humiliation, leaving Gopi mentally scarred. Twenty years later, a series of calculated, emotionless murders targeting wealthy families terrifies the city. The killer leaves behind eerie clues like children?s toys and broken bicycle parts, drawing the attention of Tenali Rama Krishna, a sharp, brilliant detective who relies heavily on criminal psychology rather than brute force. Tenali discovers that the killer is Gopi, who now suffers from Multiple Personality Disorder?living as an innocent five-year-old child by day and transforming into a cold, ruthless killer by night to seek revenge against wealth itself. Realizing that the murderer is actually a victim destroyed by societal cruelty, Tenali corners Gopi inside a luxurious mansion during his final planned crime. Instead of a physical brawl, Tenali uses an intense psychological confrontation, invoking the memory of Gopi's mother and appealing to his inner child. Gopi breaks down emotionally, allowing Tenali to safely stop and arrest him without taking his life. The film ends on a haunting note as Tenali closes the case file titled "Gopi - Victim Before Villain," underscoring the message that society creates the very monsters it punishes.
